Denim Day: May 2015

Following Mother’s Day, Enns Brothers committed to raising money for the Cure to fund breast cancer research. Each employee was encouraged to wear jeans to work after donating to the cause, which the company then matched. Last year, Enns Brothers employees donated over $2,000 to the Cure, which was doubled by the company.

This year we raised $2885 which was doubled by the company, a new record!

Children’s Hospital Toy Donation: December 2014

Travis Berg, at our Morris branch, suggested that we donate toys to the Children’s Hospital for Christmas. He said, “It’s easy to get caught up in our own issues, but what we have is nothing compared to being a sick kid stuck in the hospital at Christmas or any other time. I thought we could really make a difference.” Tatum Gardiner and Shannon Enns at the Support Centre helped coordinate the logistics of getting toys from the different branches around Manitoba.

University of Manitoba Aggie Bed Push: October 2014

As part of the University of Manitoba’s bed push to raise money for charity, Enns Brothers donated $1,000 to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The Aggie team from the University of Manitoba pushed the bed all around Western Manitoba for the whole weekend to raise the money.

ALS Ice Bucket Challenge: September 2014

Several branches participated in the Internet craze, using our John Deere products to dispense the freezing cold water. Our employees donated $2,366 to the cause, and Enns Brothers matched each donation for a total of $4,732 donated to ALS research.
